Born in 1949, in the Republic of Ireland

Ordained as a Catholic Priest on 7th June 1975

Served in various parishes including York, London and Hull

Before coming to Northallerton, Fr Michael was Parish Priest of St Patrick's Thornaby for many years

Fr Michael added the role of Administrator of Christ the King, Thornaby in 2010

He was Parish Priest of Christ the King and St Patrick, Thornaby when he celebrated his 40th Jubilee in June 2015

He left Thornaby to become the Parish Priest of Sacred Heart, Northallerton: in October, 2017

In 2019 he was asked to add Saints Mary and Joseph, Aiskew to his workload

The 7th June 2020 was the 45th Anniversary of Fr Michael becoming a Priest
